IDMaster™ is
e-tools' new National Identity (ID) Solution.
IDMaster™ runs on any
platform as it is based on J2EE and many web technologies.
National ID Systems tends to be very expensive even for small
countries with less than 10 million citizens, the costs can
exceed $35 millions. IDMaster™ is built on standards and it
is built for economy-minded Governments. It can literally shave
off two thirds of the costs as compared to solutions offered by
other companies. And yet it does not sacrifice quality,
security an privacy needs of citizens and residents.
IDMaster™ is designed
to facilitate accurate and secure identification of citizens and
residents of a country, to ease fast access to Government
services and to facilitate citizens to government transactions.
The solution uses web services, Java-based smartcards, a
Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI), digital pictures, fingerprints,
signature and bar codes.
IDMaster™ software
component is an information system: in the registration process,
it collects all the required information and serves that
information when requested. IDMaster™ is user
friendly: its user interface is an easy to use web interface
using any web browser. IDMaster™ is expandable and
easy to maintain. it allows an easy plugging-in of new
components. It is designed for easy integration with other
systems: both human user interface and electronic interface for
computer systems are available. IDMaster™ is robust:
special attention to exception and error-handling, and
extensive validation made the system work reliably.
IDMaster™ communicates
with other e-government solutions through web services: it
communicates with GateKeeper™ to provide information and tax
alerts on individual taxpayers. It can also communicate with
Police systems such as Traffic Police computers.
